It’s been over a week since I’ve blogged and my readers have made sure to let me know. Bacon lovers are a tough crowd.

So with little ado, I have to introduce you to the breakfast cone . It is a bacon breakfast sensation  filled with scrambled eggs and country gravy topped with a biscuit. If that doesn’t make up for not blogging last week then I don’t know what will. Enjoy!

Now that we have  taken a closer look at where bacon comes from, why not learn how to do it yourself. Over at Curftbox.com, there is a great tutorial on how to make your own bacon. All you need is a little pork belly, some spices, a smoker, and some time. Make sure to head over and check it out. Of course, if you make some homemade bacon be sure to send us some.

Some like em bare and some like em hairy. For those who prefer the hairy side of things let me introduce you to Elizabeth the sheep, er pig. Elizabeth is a rare Austrian Mangalitza Gilt that was recently sold at auction in Lancashire for £250. With the recent action Egypt is taking in preparation of a possible Swine flu pandemic, I don’t blame her for wearing the sheep disguise. That’s one incredibly smart pig!
